Mrs. Murphy and Mrs. Geary combined talents and recreated the Thanksgiving Feast between the Pilgrams and the Indians.  Mrs. Geary's Pilgrams came to Mrs. Murphy's "campfire" where a "pig"  was roasting over an open fire.

Students seem to enjoy the re-enactment of the first Thanksgiving as the Indians gathered around the "fire".  While waiting for the Pilgrams to arrive, many students helped with the feast and sang songs. At the left, Mrs. Murphy is pictured with her class..

Not all of the food was quite as primative as the food from the days of the first Thanksgiving Feast but none the less, the students were all certainly thankful for making this day a happy and joyous one.
