February 28, 29 and March 1st are filled with Guest Readers and Special Guests

Justin Barton, a senior athlete at Eastern High School who is headed to the University of North Carolina next year, was a reader on Monday, February 23th. Adam Taliaferro, also a senior athlete at Eastern High School, read this morning to the 8th grade language arts class.  Adam will be attending Penn State next year.

Mr. Kiernan, Superintendent,  dons his Cat in the Hat attire before heading out to read to the sixth graders. Joyce Miller, President of the Gibbsboro School Board, visits with the second graders in Miss Berges class.

Mrs. Riletta Cream visits with Mrs. Ellis class to read to the children.  She is pictured here with Mrs. Ellis and a second grade descendent of Dr. Seuss! Mr. Terry Ruggles, from Channel 10 News, was a guest reader for Mrs. DiRenzo's AM Kindergarten. He came to visit accompanied by Channel 10's news team and Gibbsboro will be on the news!

Ronald McDonald visited the younger grades, putting on a mini assembly about the importance of reading and the use of library books.  He was well received by the Kindergarten through fifth grade students. Ron Marchese and Adam Siebert, Eastern High School Athletes, volunteered to read for the eighth grade reading/ language arts classes.  They enjoyed the experience and so did the Gibbsboro students.
