Flu Shots for Parents
Back to School Nights will soon be here. The dates are September 24th and September 25th. Times will follow in the form of a letter coming home with you child. We want to encourage parents to use the web as a venue for finding out information about what is happening in school. Hopefully, we will try to put the Bridge and the weekly menus on the web as well.
We continue to be in need of lunchroom aides. Hours for this paid position are 11:15-1:00. In addition, please call if you are interested in becoming a substitute aide (high school diploma) or a substitute teacher (60 hours of college or a degree).
Regarding the student and traffic flow in the morning and afternoon, I have received several parent suggestions as well as advice from the crossing guards and police. The students are doing an excellent job in the mornings. I would like to remind you to use the municipal lot for parking. The front of the school should be left clear for drop-offs. At the end of the day, all students must remain on the sidewalk and walk along the side of the school. Although this seems quite out of the way for students leaving for home from the municipal lot, it is important in maintaining the safety of our students with the increased traffic on Kirkwood Road.
