Mrs. Debbie Murphy
| Mrs. Murphy is excited about her new job as Spanish teacher K-8.
She travels on a cart with all her spanish supplies and moves from room to room.
It is an exciting challenge but she is enjoying it. A 1980 graduate of Seton Hall University (B.A. in Communications), Mrs. Murphy returned to school to complete her Post Baccalaureate Certification program at Rowan University, receiving her credentials to teach. She was a member of Who's Who in American Colleges and Universities. Her professional organizations include Kappa Delta Phi. In addition to being a teacher, Mrs. Murphy enjoys being a wife and mother. She lives at home, in Cherry Hill, with her husband, Terry, daughters Kaitlyn (16) and Megan (10) and her "wonderful" mom, Grandma Izzy. "Jocko", the family scottish terrier, completes the family picture. When time permits, Mrs. Murphy enjoys participating in community theater. Last year, Mrs. Murphy was seen as Berthe in the musical, "Pippin", with the Maple Shade Players. Mrs. Murphy has a special love for Spanish and plans to continue her extensive travel. She has traveled extensively and hopes to visit Hawaii and Ireland/London. |
Each student designed a room for Wanda, the Witch in the first grades last year.. |
This year, Mrs. Murphy will expand her "hands on" learning" projects, adapting them for each grade. |
