JOSEPH J. FALLON,
JR.
BOROUGH COUNCIL
Joe and his wife, MaryAnn live on Ridgewood
Rd with their two children, Sara, 21 and Brett, 19. Sara and
Brett are graduates of Eastern High School and attend college
in New Jersey.
Joe is a graduate of Eastern High School himself
and is proud of our students who attend Eastern and the achievements
accomplished by them in both academics and athletics. Joe served
on the Gibbsboro Board of Education and believes that we must
give our children an outlet for their energies through school,
community and church. Giving something back to his community
is what he has tried to do during his nine years as a member
of Borough Council.
For the past two years while in the majority
Joe has strived to make Gibbsboro a better place to live. One
of his priorities has been reducing residents complaints regarding
the response time to public works requests, upgrading the image
of our public works department through uniforms for employees
and removing the politics from the police department . Under
his leadership the police department has become a full partner
with the community.
A member and former co-president of Project
Graduation since its inception six years ago, this worthwhile
project is his commitment to our teenagers. Project Graduation
raises funds for a graduation evening without alcohol. Hoagie
Sales, the Christmas House Tour and other monthly activities
are held during the year to raise funds. This years attendees
was the largest ever in the history of Project Graduation
330 Seniors boarded buses for a fun filled evening at the shore.
"There is so much pressure on our young people today, I
want to have them enjoy their school years without relying on
drugs and alcohol.
Joe is a volunteer with the Mr. Fix-It Program
and is the owner of Fallon & Son Remodeling. Living and working
together for a better Gibbsboro is what serving is all about.
